Heartling started as an online dumpling store, then evolved into something more—an intimate dining experience built around handmade food and quiet ritual.
Founder Suby Liu needed language that could carry that shift. Not just menu descriptions, but a philosophy. A story. Words that made people slow down and pay attention.
I wrote everything: the brand story, website, preparation cards, and every menu item. The tone needed to feel contemplative without being precious, and hungry without being loud. Like the dumplings themselves—careful, considered, worth savouring.
